Frequently Asked Questions
All permanent makeup treatments require 2 sessions for successful results. It is completely normal for the pigment soften and lighten up during the initial session. A touch-up is important for multiple factors including skin reaction, healing processes, proper aftercare, lifestyle, medications used, body metabolism and etc. The touch-up session should be scheduled and performed no sooner than 4 weeks after the initial procedure and not later than 8 weeks.
Please note we can not guarantee results. Each client’s skin responds differently both in how long it takes to heal and the number of sessions needed for colour retention. This is is why is important that you take good care of your treatment while healing and beyond.

Pre / Post Care Eyeliner
If you booked your treatment with us this is what you need to do to get the best results and to do so. It is absolutely crucial that you follow all pre-care instructions to ensure you have the most successful Eyelid Treatment.
Please follow these pre-care instructions to maximise the results of your treatment.
- Avoid having Salmon 48 hrs prior.
- Don’t wear mascara on the day of the procedure.
- Don’t wear fake eyelash extensions on the day of the procedure.
- Don’t wear contact lenses on the day the procedure.
- No botox injections 2 weeks prior to procedure in eye area only.
- The skin must be free of all irritations including blemishes, eczema and psoriasis.
- Avoid sun tanning or tanning bed for 2 weeks to procedure. As the skin exfoliates from sunburn it will take the pigment away.
** Not following pre-care instructions will result in rescheduling your appointment and forfeiting your deposit **
Alcohol and caffeine increases blood pressure and thins the blood. This causes bleeding during the eyelid treatment and poor colour deposit.
- Don’t consume coffee or other caffeine products 24 hours prior.
- Don’t drink alcohol 24 hrs prior.
Clients who don’t follow the pre-care instructions can only lead to skin sensitivities during the treatment, excessing bleeding during the session causing poor colour retention and poor results.
Looking after your eyelid treatment is one of the most important parts of the process. How well you take care of your treatment over the next 7 days will ultimately determine healing and colour retention. Right after your treatment the artist will walk you through step by step how to properly look after your treatment so you can achieve the best results.
